Creating a New Network Profile in Mobile Partner

1. Start Mobile Partner (Software that you use with your Huawei modem).

2. Go to Tools tab then select Options this will open a new window.

3. In the following window select Profile Management on the left. Then click the New on the upper right.

4. Under Profile Name enter the preferred name for your connection e.g. MTN Internet

5. Under APN select Static and enter your Network Operator’s Access Point Name in the APN : field. (Member contributed Network Profiles)

6. Under Authentication

  • Access Number: *99#
  • Username: “Network Operator username”
  • Password: “Network Operator password”

7. Now click Save to save your New Network Profile and close the windows by clicking OK (lower right). Then Click Yes to “Save the Changes”.

8. Go to Connection in Mobile Partner. Then select your New Network Profile from the Profile Name: drop-down list then click on the Connect button to connect to the internet.
