E220Update_11.117.10.00.00.B268.exe
hexedit.exe
qmat_423.zip
CardLock_UnLock.exe

STEP 1

Remove the SIM card and connect the E220 USB Modem to the PC
Run “E220Update_11.117.10.00.00.B268.exe”

Now you’ll get the following window. Select “I accept the agreement” Then click Next

Then wait until it detects the modem interface. After the detection of Modem, you will get the following window. Press “Cancel”

Press “Yes” to Quit from the Firmware Update Process.

STEP 2

Extract “qmat_423.zip”

Run “qmat.exe” and select: Hardware Forensics -> Use Com/USB Port

Now the “QC Com Diag” window should be open. Most of the time your modem and com port is automatically selected on the Serial Com port drop down list. If not you’ll have to select it manually. And then click on the “Send Cmd” button and wait till the message “Successfully sent command” appears on the bottom right.
